Daring Mini Luxury

What I loved about this project was how bold the owners were — starting with their choice of location. They bought an apartment with a large balcony in a brand-new (and very stylish-looking) building right in the bustling 8th district.

The first task was designing the kitchen. Male energy dominates in the family, and that strongly shows in the color scheme. But the lady of the house perfectly softened the rule of dark tones with accessories, patterned wallpaper, a golden lamp, many colorful rugs, and bold combinations.

Take a look at every detail of the Schüller Küchen kitchen — originally based on a rather “unlucky” floor plan, but ultimately designed brilliantly: the glass backsplash with the rail system, the Neolith Hungary ceramic countertop, and the classic milled fronts in a modern, handleless version. We love it!

Refined countryside house

Whenever we go out for the kitchen handover and photoshoot, I always find myself thinking, "Wow, this kitchen turned out so much better than the plans!"
